Tranny repair time estimate 850 94

Hi,

I'm going to my dealer for tranny service on my 850 T5. The solenoid S1 will be replaced (in response to fault code 1-2-2).

Does anyone of you 'Volvo techs on-the-Net' have an "by the book" figure on how much labor time this involves? My service manager quoted 4 hours, which I doubt is from the book.

    4 hours is about right in my book too. To do it one must support the engine, lower the subframe to remove the pan. It's not as easy as you might think.

      My book calls for 5 hours.
