I seldom see Craigslist ads that really describe the car AND the owner. This one brought a smile to my face :>)

This car has 172k and runs and drives. It never fails to start right up and get me where I'm going....BUT....There are things wrong with it, hence the price [$900]. I will not hide anything, you will know about every problem that it has. First, it has some kind of short under the hood so every time you want to go anywhere you have to push the battery terminal back on. And if you forget to take it off when your done driving, it will be dead for you by morning. As you can see, there is no grill and the hood is a little bent. It still latches just fine, but after doing that battery terminal thing, I forgot to latch it and it flew up at me while I was driving. Passenger window doesn't roll down, needs new motor. The front struts should be replaced, but it isn't a must. It burns oil, not bad at all, just since your under the hood everyday to fiddle with the battery...might as well check the oil too. The driver window works just fine, but you need to guide it so it doesn't go crooked and rip the tint off...I will teach you. The front brakes are fine, but the rears are starting to grind. They just started grinding about 4 days ago, but it is getting steadily worse, so those will for sure need replacing. Tires are bald. Also missing pass. mirror. And lastly, It needs a new wiper transmission. One of the arms broke on it, and of course, on the driver side. So I moved the pass. side wiper up more so when it wipes, it wipes the driver side too. I went all last summer and all this winter like that and it works just fine. Other than those problems, it is a very reliable car. A little money put into it, and it will be really nice again...except I don't want to do it. As of last summer it has a new coolant overflow tank, wheel bearings, sway bar links, and CV boots. It served me well for 3 years, but it's about time for something else for me.
