Rear pillar speakers work, rear door speakers don't. There aren't any extra wires that I can see behind the deck, however it was installed by the guido PO so who knows what kind of hack job he did. Is there an amplifier like in my 940?

This may help. It shows rear doors and rear hat shelf are the same.

If your radio is stock and has a cd player, then there is an amp under the front seat.

They replaced the stock deck with a crummy Premier CD deck from Schmucks, I'm going to put in the Blaupunkt deck and a pair of Kenmore 3 ways I swiped out of my 940 before I sold it.

And by guidos I meant straight up Jersey Shore, not as a slur against Italians.

If they put in a garbage after market, I bet the radio wasn't a CD playing SC-816. The other model did not have an amp.

Your 940 radio should work, hopefully the plugs are the same.

At least there is no need to remove door panels in the 850, like the SV70.
