I need to replace a burned out taillight, but the latches on the door inside the trunk, behind which the bulb holder lives, are not wanting to release the door. Any special tricks, other than holding my mouth right?

    No real tricks. I just put pressure on it by sticking a screwdriver in the crack and turning the knob. Gentle pressure... 1/4 turn should be enough.
