swapping seats 850 1997

I've got a 1997 850 white w/gray leather. I was wondering if anyone has had experience with trading out newer bucket seats, the Florida sun has thwarted my best efforts to keep these pliable. Any advice would be really appreciated. Thanks

I put cloth 850 seats in my 544 because I knew that it would never have AC.

It's too bad they don't make some jazzy cloth seats for the 850 like we had in our '89 744 TI.

I once looked to buy a big old Mercedes that had special wide welt corduroy seats that were made for the desert - they cost more than leather seats.

Why not have a good shop reupholster your seats with some nice fancy cloth?

ANSWER swapping seats 850 1997

I know 1998 seats swap. But I don't know when the side air bag was made electric rather than a detonator button which you have.

The skins up through 2000 will fit just fine.
