Hi all,

I replaced the PNP switch on my 1998 S70.

Now I found this part, brass colored looks like a bushing with a "C" shaped arm attached. Haven't a clue what it is or where it is from.

Read instructions and still can't upload photos.

Please help.

    Depending on the size, a lot of things fall down there and get left behind. I don't know of any brass fittings around the PNP, but I suggest that you look at the part carefully and see if the 'C' portion is actually broken off metal - which could come from attachment to the battery or some other electrical connector.

      Hi Klaus,

      Thanks for the prompt response. Wish I could post the pictures.

      It's not broken and looks it fits on a shaft somewhere. OTOH it might have been left by the mechanic who replaced the drive axle.
