OIL ON TURBO INTAKE HOSE 850 97

while i was changing the oil on my car i noticed that there was quite a bit of oil on the intake hose at the turbo. i know there is usually a oily residue there but this is enough oil that it is running down to the oil pan. although i found this oil it doesn't seem to be using alot. i just changed the air filter but the oil is but no change. what should i try next? car does have 100k . could this be the end of the turbo? let's hope not. any suggestions?

thanks

Re: OIL ON TURBO INTAKE HOSE 850 97

Are you sure this isn't the normal seepage that all of the turbos have? There apparently are NO turbos seen that do not have some form of "leak" at the intake hose/turbo fitting. Tightening the clamp may help, but since the hose is stiff plastic, it usually still leaks. Mine drips on my garage floor occasionally.
