ABS & TRAC Warning Lights Intermittently Coming ON V70-XC70 2007

ABS and TRAC warning lights have been coming on intermittently for a couple of weeks now. I understand ABS control modules in newer (2002 - ) Volvo's cannot be 'repaired'. I do have an (older) OBD II code reader - will I be able to determine what the cause for the warning lights might be from the codes? Any first-pass checks I should do?

Call Volvo. Believe it or not, the dealers are supposed to read the codes for free these days. So, call 1-800 Volvo to verify. You will need your VIN so they can look up the car.
