Brand new and tires are rubbing the wells V70-XC70 01

I've had my V70 T5 w/ 17" wheels for almost 6 months and have it to the dealer 3 times for excessive front tire rubbing in the wheel wells. The problem is only apparent when the wheel is cut either hard left or right (a tight U-turn or tight circle in a parking lot. The dealer has done alignments all with no positive results. I then took a spin in a spank brand new V70 with the lead tech. and again the same rubbing results. He and the service manager are scratching their heads and are going to call Volvo to check this out. Anyone else with the same problem? What was the fix? Is Volvo aware of the problem? Thanks all!

I have the same problem. I ignore it because the contact is minimal. The fix is to adjust the steering stops if they are adjustable.
