volvo 850 turbo stabilizer bar 850 1996

The bushings on my stabilizer bar are cracking. I could not find the part on fcpgroton.com and when i called them up they led me to

http://www.volvopartswebstore.com/showAssembly.aspx?ukey_product=1187989&ukey_assembly=239219

part 9173471

Also he said OEM was the only one available which is somewhat surprising. Are there any other options i have?

OK, it was a quick Amazon search for 850 sway bar bushings. Do not overlook Amazon for obscure parts. I nailed the hatch struts for the 780 that way too recently.

The bushings on the anti-sway bar are a bitch to cut off, Sawzall them. Poly bushings and brackets are available, which I know from doing them with my kid, but from what source, IDNK, since he did the acquisition.

The OEM bushings are part of the bar.

However, the HD IPD bars come with replaceable poly bushings. http://www.ipdusa.com/ The IPD bars also come with a lifetime guarantee (which may not be a big deal for a 16+ year old car.)

From what I have learned, the bushings are not replaceable. Take a look for the same OEM part at Tasca:
