my car has just reached 25k, and i am planning on a self induced crash test! does anyone have any tips to do it safely? I want to do it right!! Should i do it against a wall or a stationary car? I have quite a few mods, which puts my car at approx. 280 brake horsepower. My car has front and side airbags, should i bring my whole family? So far, is just me and my dog. Your comments are greatly appreciated..

While Vadim's suggestion would test the front air bags, I recommend stopping on the railroad tracks with the car perpendicular to the tracks. Let the dog out of the car, leaving yourself in it. Upon the arrival of a fully loaded coal train, you should find out how well your side impact airbags work.

IMHO, the best way would be to drive to the nearest railtrack crossing, wait for a cargo train and then accelerate like hell into it. Just make sure you are doing at least 45mph. It should be safe - I read about a women whose Volvo crashed into a train and got dragged for a mile or so - she walked away from the scene.

Think about what you are planning on doing for a moment!
