Ground Effects for a C-70 Coupe C70 98

Has anybody seen any ground effects(airdams front & rear)for a C-70 coupe.Don't get me wrong, I love my C-70 but I can't help but wonder what a little more aggressive C-70 Coupe would look like. I've seen pictures of a C-70 with custom made front & rear air dams that a guy from Belgium made. It looked great but there must be something in the aftermarket? Any ideas?

Thanks for the help.

Yeah, it sure would be cool if they come out some bodykit for this car. Well, there just are many bodykits out there for Volvo. Thought about the VIP kit, but heard it was too subtle to even bother. Plus, an 'all show' and 'no go' kinda car was never what I had in mind for my car.

That Belgium made C70 you mentioned sure has some wild kit, not sure many parts of it really excite me. And when I found out this FWD car is running wider wheels in the rear, the phrase RICED-UP was only thing I could think of. It could of gotten a less outrageous rear bumper and spend that money to get the car move faster.

Having said all that, I still think the E46 M3 front bumper is not too bad, just need more elegant touch. You don't find bodykits for newer volvo everywhere, and have them molded like a factory job is even harder. Still gotta respect what he's done so far.

      Kai,

Do you have any pictures of that car? I don't remember that one. I know about that purple C70 that some Russian company was modding up. Talk about some F-Up tihs!

P.S. Oh yeah, anyone tried out the new grille yet for the C70 that IPD has?

I have the pictures on our site. Nah..haven't tried the IPD grille yet, nto sure if that will look nice on the car. I kinda want to keep the factory look...it grows on you after a while.

I remember VIP (in Germany) used to have something for the C70 but they don't exist anymore (or so I heard). So, in other words, no. Let me know if you find some stuff though.

      Gents,

I've been looking at this for 2 years now.

If we could install the side skirt from

the MB CLK430 it would look phenomimal.

Or something similar. Volvo should have

done this from the beginning. I have

been told that the C70 is a sexier

      looking car than the CLK320/430.

Maybe you've gotten the same feedback.

The rusty chassis metal runner on the car

side bottom is the only negative aspect

to the astetics of our car.

As soon as it gets a little warmer I

am going to play with overlaying this

area with a nice rigid black molding.

It may be a little work as this chassis line

is not straight and has many undulations.

But it will look nicer than what's there now.

      What do you think?

      RD
