LEAK DETECTION PUMP V70-XC70 2003

2003 V70 2.4T 111,000 mi, Looks like I need to replace the Leak Detection Pump, as a CEL= code 2402, I guess it could be a cracked hose? BUT, my question is where is the pump? Thanks ..

Check post #3. JDA2000 is a good friend of mine and knows his stuff. Be sure that the gas cap is on tight and no other leaks are present in the EVAP system.

LEAK DETECTION PUMP V70-XC70 2003

Replaced the LDP, went into a very good Volvo shop in so cal,now upon trying to pass smog, the timer/clock checking the Evap system has not run in 8 days. was told that BMW/MB/Volvo can take time, i have put 250 mi on since replaced. also now the cat is showing a fault, 113K 2003 v702.4T ,
