The plastic hinged button on gear stick has broken. Does the whole stick have to be replaced?
If glued I doubt I can get part back in place. How is the gear stick removed? Help!!!!

    All of the shifters work the same, it is the trim that is different. Pulling up is not easy, and watch out when it comes loose!!!

      Thank you KlausC for the info. I ordered a new shift lever from FGC Groton. It arrived today and the car is fixed. I was able to make a little gadget, silver soldered out of wire taped to gear knob so I could use the car until the part arrived. Thanks again!
