The wood like trim in my recently purchased Volvo is in great shape, except for the console. I have a 5 speed. All I can find is dash kits. Will I be able to find just that one piece anywhere? Thanks for your assistance.

    if really needs replacement, try Erie volvo, erievovo.com, lotsa used parts...

    So long as the wood finish is OK, you could lightly sand (300 grit) the panel and put on a thin coat of poly or automotive clear coat paint.
