Need Chicago area mechanic 850 94

Does anyone know a good, honest(ha ha) mechanic in the Chicago area? I was using a place I thought was good, but they mis-diagnosed my trans problem which I am sure is PNP problem.(they replaced shift select switch and probably made things worse.Now if I dare try to use winter mode in snow the orange arrow blinks and I can't get out of winter mode.It just goes back into normal mode by itself in a coulple of days.) Thanks ,D

    I highly recommend Swedish Car Specialist in Schaumburg, IL. They know Volvos and really try to fix the issue. I take my car there.

      Did you guys forget about Volvo of Lisle. Some of these guys have worked on Volvo's for 35+ years at the same dealership (used to be on 87th and Stoney about 30 years ago). Sincerly Sandro P. Seminara

    The mechanic Humberto suggested is very good. He charges 250 to replace the PNP, Volvo charges 150 more. Most times the guy knows whats ailing the ca on the phone. I don't even take mine to a dealer anymore.

    I live close to Chicago Motor Speed Way, and I take my Volvo to an independent place call Swedish Car Specialist at Schamburg ill. You can call Randy at 847-891-3133 very good people an resonable rates too.
