We just purchased a 2008 XC70 - the last O is missing from the liftgate.

Volvo only sells sets.

Have you got any Os?

BTW - I have a lot of fine Volvo stuff to swap.

    The letters are held on with double sided tape. To remove one, use dental floss to 'cut' it off the decklid. Then mineral sprits (gasoline, WD40) to clean off the back of the letter. Use a straight edge to determine the location to put it on.

    Any junk yard will do. Probably 2005-10 are the same, possibly 01-04 also but who knows.

    There are several at the local PNP. Do you think '08 is the same as '99? If you need one, I'll get you one Saturday.

      The O in question is 1-3/8" wide X 1" tall. It is relatively thick, has smooth edges, and looks like smooth chrome.

      What Volvos do you have? I'm sure I could pay your costs or send you something I have extra.

        No big deal. The local pnp charges $2 entry fee and I don't know what for a 0 (you don't want an O) but it can't be much.

        I have a '99 V70 NA. I could use some black trim pieces; interior door pull escutcheons (I have tan I'm getting ready to paint) and right rear quarter glass and seat belt trim, center grill below the front bumper. If you don't have any, I'm still glad to send a 0.
