Radio Code for SC-810 850 1993

I'm getting a code message on my SC-810 radio when I turn it on (My car was resently surviced and went into the shop with a drained battery). Is there a generic code to get the radio working again or should I take this into a Volvo dealer to get fixed?

Mine is 3543. I believe they are generic. Good luck.

The code is a security code to help discourage theft (can't

use the radio without the code). The codes are different

(well, to the point where 4 numbers can differ). Hopefully,

radio thieves don't read this board and won't be staking

out your cars :)

I called a local Volvo dealer about the radio code. The code will depend on your VIN number. My code was 6152. Nonetheless, for all that replied, thank you for the help.

You should have your readio code somewhere in the wallet where the owner's manual is. It is a 4-digit code with all the numbers ranging anywhere from 1 to 6. If you do not have it, you will probably have to go back to the Retailer and have them look it up for you.
