Falken tires 850 1997

Hi all,

was just wondering if anyone has had any experience with Falken

Tire brand? I just recently bought a set of used 16" turbo wheels with

Falken 205X50X16 tires. I just installed them and took the car out

for a test drive. My initial experience with these tires are good.

Any informal feedback will be appreciated... thanks

    which model is this? Had a set of GRB RS410 195/50VR15. verdict - very noisy tires! i won't go back to them . now have a single ZIEX ZE-502 as spare, am considering purchasing a single tire to match up for Front use on my 855T5, Rear retain Goodyear F1s. Size 205/50ZR16 for the F1s. unfortunately the ZE-502's a VR rated, still considering my options ...

    if you have RS410s, it won't be long (prolly half-life) before you start complaining about the noise ...

    Had a set of Zeix on my wagon. Thought they were OK, but wore out a little early. Pretty good in wet weather.

      I have very good experience with Falken tires -

      while driving in Europe, where you need grip for the narrow roads and many curves. It was like getting a new car after running on Bridgestone - especially the noise reduction...

      The price of a good grip - is more wear on tires.

      If your tires are hard, they last longer - but has trouble gripping.

      I choose Falken ZE (considered performance tires) after Auto, Motor Sport (German leading car magazine) and several other organisations tested it to be best tire on both wet and dry roads - and more silent than most tires. Downs: the wear.

      They are about 60$ each in 205 in Denmark - and I buy them again, when my very noisy Cooper Cobra and Gislaved tires are worn enough.

      No, I'm not related to tires in any way :)

      Before this I just didn't know that tires had a very big influence on your driving prefereances - and tire choices are a matter of your driving style..

        Where in Chicago can you get these? I am in the NW burbs and would like to check them out. Would appreciate any info. Thanks.
