Reset Power Windows S80

I just replaced the battery in my 2007 S80. Afterwards the windows auto up and down feature would not work. I searched here, but did not see a solution. I found one on another board that included pulling the fuses. I did not have to do that. Here is what worked for me. Hold each window switch in the up position until it clunks. That resets the auto windows. You must do each window separately.

    Did you do this procedure using the driver's master switch or using the local switches? Roughly how long did you have to hold the switch up the up position before you heard the reset clunk?

    My 2005 S60R has the same problem on the front passenger window. Using the master switch, I held it in the up position for 15-20 seconds, but heard nothing, and the problem was not resolved. Maybe I did not hold it long enough.

      Sorry for the slow reply. Obviously I do not visit here often. As I recall, you hold the button till the window is at the top, release, and then hold till you hear the clunk. Doesn't take long.
