KVR Pads and Rotors ??? 850 1997

Anyone familiar with this brand of passenger and performance line of pads and rotors?

They come highly recommended, but I have never heard of them or used them. I will be needing front pads and rotors in the near future.

I'll take other comments / suggestions for quality parts at a good price. I did follow some of the links in other threads and found good prices, but I want to ensure that I get quality parts as well.

Thansk very much,

Barry

Re: KVR Pads and Rotors ??? 850 1996

    I have a 96 850 turbo wagon.

I tried the KVR pads. My experience is that:

    - not as good stopping capability as the OEM Volvo pads

    - didn't squeal for the first 1000 km, and then squealed lots!

    - did dust less than the OEM pads

Especially because of the poorer stopping performance with the KVRs, I went back to the Volvo pads.

Get OEM brake pads instead, OEM brake pad is the only pad without squeaking on Volvo 850. I've installed KVR on my car, there is no difference in stopping distance but squeaking. However, unless you think brake dust is your major concern over making squeaking noise every time you slam on ur brakes.
