2009 v70 should i buy V70-XC70 2009

Hi all,
i am thinking of purchasing a 2009 awd t6 v70. 55000 miles. Anyone have any thoughts on this. Are there any issues with this car that you know of and that i should know of ?
As always i look forward to your input with thanks.

2009 uses the newer SI6 which has a timing chain, not a belt, so don't worry about that. The serpentine belt and tensioner are due at something like 100k. I don't know of anything really common on this drivetrain that you need to worry about. Some cars of this generation (including mine) suffer from an odd bushing noise that shows up in turns and during hard acceleration/braking. Some have had them replaced, I have had great luck using a rubber-friendly silicone grease every once in a while (well out of warranty). Otherwise just have it checked out like any other used car.

Check out the seat! Slightly narrower than the older cars.

No major issues to date. The Tbelt isn't due until 120K or so, but it will need new brake fluid. Ask for service records, they are nice to have. You will use synthetic engine oil and special fluid for power steering.

Hola David,

The car is 5 years old and some items to consider:
1. When will it need a new timing belt. Deduct this from asking price
2. Has the oil been change in the trans.

I am still driving the 93 and can not afford this newer vehicles.
