Spark Plug Torque/Tips - GLT? S70 99

[Is there a Haynes manual for this car yet?] ;-)

Anyone know the torque spec for spark plugs on this engine or do you just snap them off and use an EasyOut (yeah, Easily be Out alot of money)?

    I think there is a Haynes for the X70 series. I thought I saw it at ipd.

    For 850s and S70s I always use 20 lb/ft. I think the actual number is like 18 +/- 2. But with a long extension on a torque wrench it tends to be off by about 5% on the low side.

      Don't forget a dab of anti-sieze on the threads of the new plugs.

        Thanks guys! Yeap, always neverseize them.

        Who makes these OEM "double platinum" plugs ($7.00 EACH)?
