Fuse and relay come to mind. Its rare for those fan motors to give out. Test the relay and fan first, then if they check out, pull the fal leads and run power straight to them to make sure its dead, it may just be a bad connector or broken wire

I have done several over the years and one a few days ago [just posted an issue]. Suggest checking relay [pull the middle connector and ground either of the connectors on the relay to see if fan works or at least the relay 'clocks'] As previous post said, hot wire fan to see if she goes, and lastly if all this fails, I did have one fan that seemed to be dead only to find that the pos wire had corroded and broke at the starter where it is connected [stays hot while car is 'off]. If you find the wire is toast, you can wire directly bypassing the harness. Also take a look carefully at the wiring where it enters the fan motor. With one of my failures the wiring had actually melted there and shorted. FCP has OEM grade fan on sale for the early FWDs.
