2001 V70 Front suspension too low V70-XC70 2001

My wife's v70 seems to be too low in the front. Have had to had the front bumper cover repaired twice. Does anyone have a suggestion to raise the front a little? Can I change some parts from an XC70 model ? Thanks for any help.

If the suspension checks out OK, let your wife drive the next few times you go out together - then sneak a peek at how she parks relative to curbs and parking space stops.

A lot of people think that those things are for stopping your front wheels when you are parked far enough into the parking space.

My wife took all the paint off the bottom inch of our "96 855R - my daughter never got a single scrape on the R model bumper on her '95 855 base - I measured them - they were the same height.

Check the height of the front suspension by measuring from the center cap to the fender, front and rear wheels. The gap should be very close to the same, like less than 1/2 inch. If the front is much lower then there might be a spring seat problem.

What are your tire/wheel sizes? Do you have sport suspension option?

Yes, parking in a stall with concrete bumpers or a raised curb is a problem. I learned where the front of the car is when I had a 1998 "R", which has sport suspension and a lower bumper.
