SC-901 CD changer programming C70 2001

anybody knows how to tell the SC-901 car stereo to change AUTOMATICALLY from one CD to the next when the last track has ended? mine keeps playing the same CD again and again until i select the next one.

was like this in a '99 V70T5 and still is in my new '01 C70LPT convertible.

thanks for a hint!

I agree. I also have the SC-901 stereo, and the manual says the CD player is supposed to switch between CD's on its own (even when it plays in Random mode), but I've had the car for 13 months and I have yet to ever see that happen. Would also like to know if there is some trick I am missing. Thanks.

I have noticed this on my 1999. Is there any better info available on this equipment. I also cannot understand the two little slides? that appear on the left side of the LCD in FM. I have heard that the various button are programmable and have special function.

I also wondered what those little symbols were on the left side of the LCD screen. I wondered if it meant signal strength but they never change, so I don't know. Does anyone else have any idea?

if you mean the symbols that look like an antenna (there's two):

when you see two antenna symbols it means that you have the antenna diversity system installed. your radio uses two antennas, one stick antenna that comes up when you start your car and the other one in the rear bumper. the radio continously scans both antennas and switches to the one with the better reception.

i can imagine that if one of the antennas has no signal one of the symbols would disappear.

I just took delivery of a 901 with the three disk cartridge. Dio you know of any undocumented operation shortcuts? For example-I don't llike the fact that the cd's in the three disk holder play over and over-no serial playing, like in the 6 disk changer. Not a bad radio- so far.It is an improvement over the mitsubichi models in the 850's.
