Block to PTC hose

Does this hose (the V shape of two hoses) run from the block carrying water to the PTC valve? Can this get damaged when removing from the PTC valve?
I wonder and worry because I might need to buy it yet I cannot find it on the parts sites.

I think this is what you are looking for:

Not a cheap item. The PTC uses vacuum, not water, and the hose just pulls straight up off the PTC. Where the water goes is beyond my knowledge.

Block to PTC hose

Is this for your 1999 light pressure turbo? The vacuum line from close to the #1 intake runner to the PTC contains no water.

Thank you,
Happy New Year
Could you tell the names of the hoses that connect at the PTC valve, please? I saw a bird's eye photo of the valve in the cold air tube in which there are two hose outlets either side of the valve - I would like to know what they are -they are like for vacuum tubes. Is there not a water carrying one?
I would like to check my PTC valve but from what people have said it seems to be at the risk of breaking one of those lines ...
There was mention the tubing in the photo above (that comes from the two block holes) goes to the PTC (+ve temp. co-efficient valve). I read that when removed the one in the photo was damaged. I do wonder though if when people say 'disintegrate' they are referring to the coil wire cover stuff that sheds and crumbles and that we all deal with rather than the actual hose?
So, what are the tolerances for these hoses. Will I be alright removing them. Maybe I should spray with WD40 before hand? They should already be reall oily though surely. I did read a post in which you replaced yours Klaus.
Another problem is that I can't find these hoses in kits or a la carte and hard to find even on Swedishautoparts.com
