Hi

I would like to ask about the hubs.
My front XC hubs have bolts, but the rear hubs have the large nuts. Can I confirm that this is normal? And, along those lines, what determines whether the nut system is used or the bolt system?

Also, can anyone tell offhand, what makes the difference in the two nut types shown in the image? If measurement is the difference can you tell me where to where exactly to measure.
I want to confirm the nut I have to get.

    Front and rear are designed differently because of load and handling differences (the front wheels turn the car).

    Are you replacing the front or rear hub? The rear large nut that goes over the axle gets reused. The front must be replaced.
