P0131 Even after replacing 02 sensor S40-V40 2004

Hi

Last autumn i replaced the front 02 sensor, but after a while started getting the P0036 error code, which meant i had to replace the rear 02 sensor as well. Everything now seemed to be in order, after replaceing the rear one, but after the first drive the engine light turned on again and now the error code was P0131.

P0131 seems to have something to do with low voltage in the 02 sensor. Does anyone have any tips what i could try checking? Or might the new 02 sensor have been faulty?

Years ago I had an awful time getting the CEL to reset after repairs were done.
Finally got it with a ScanGauge II tool. But even that was not as simple as pushing "clear codes".
Maybe your light just won't reset and it's not a defective O2 sensor.

Well, the light resets for a while, but then turns back on and the error code is now 131, so I don't think that is the case. Maybe should try to find the receipt for the purchase of the front 02 sensor and try to get it replaced based on warranty...
