Rear end ratio, 2010 XC70? V70-XC70

I need to buy and ship a used rear end, to South America, for a 2010 XC70. Did all 2010 XC70s have the same differential ratios regardless of the market they were sold in?

    Hi John,

    Just some thinking here.....

If you look at this IPB for the drive shaft connections at the trans and angle drive....

    http://www.volvopartswebstore.com/showAssembly.aspx?ukey_assembly=1181721&ukey_make=865&ukey_model=12013&modelYear=2010&ukey_category=7095&ukey_driveLine=11328

....it would seem illogical that any changes in final ratio would occur at the rear end.

If that were the case, how would they make matching ratio changes to each of the two front drive shafts?

I propose that if there are any differences in overall drive ratio from one model to the next, it almost has to be accomplished way upstream in the transmission.

    Am I missing something?

I think the major difference is between the manual Vs automatic. The "R" version is also different.
