I understand that to crank the engine without firing you should remove the fuel pump relay. Can confirm this is correct for a V70?

I am intending to pump out the p/s fluid through the return hose

    That works, or, you could unplug the injector relay at the fan shroud.

    Are you unplugging the hose to the PS reservior? I hope you have a helper handy because that fluid pumps real fast.
