Have read some of the replies. Cleaned the MAF. Seemed to help a little bit, but now the stalls continue. Worse when AC on. v70 has 175k. Anyone have the list of things to search for and where I might find them on the engine. Any common problems with a v70 this age? Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

    You could try cleaning the throttle body if you haven't done it yet. It's free. Eventually a dirty throttle body will start giving you trouble - like if it's never been cleaned in 185,000 miles.
