Rear Hydraulic Motor Mount & Cable V70-XC70 2000

2000 V70 SE / B5244S Denso AW5 205K miles

Just changed out the rear hydraulic motor mount today. Not a DIY job for the faint of heart, but all's well that ends well. And, the mount needed to be changed; it had ruptured and the internal oil was leaking.

There's a wire cable wrapped vertically around the hydraulic mount, held in place by grooves at the top and bottom. The cable wants to come undone when twisting the mount into its tight space. I managed to keep the cable intact and in place after it fell off a couple of times... but, any idea what that wire cable is for?
