Tire Pressure 850 1996

I have a 1996 850-R with the 17inch P-Zero's. What is the best tire Pressure front and rear for performance? I am aware of the optimal pressure ratings on the inside of the fuel door. I just wanted to know if anyone has had different results?

    I run 41 front 45 rear cold. Just look and see how much scuffing your sidewalls are getting. If none then I would say your fine. If more then 5. inches add some pressure.
