Sporadic Low Coolant Warning XC90 2005

The other day I got a big red warning on the dash for "Low Coolant". I got the car pulled over and the fluid is right to the top of the expansion tank. In addition, the temperature gauge hasn't budged. The warning message seems to becoming more frequent and last night remained on until I could restart the engine. Any ideas or similar situations?

    It is probably the float inside the coolant tank. When was the last time you flushed the coolant? When you do, remove the tank and clean off the float. The dealer will replace the float?
