Very very quick air filter box question.... 850 1995

I was just fiddling with the inerds or my volvo engine compartment and noticed that the duct that goes from the air box to the front of the car (radiator area, I think it's the intake duct) was disconnected at the air box. Also, there is no hose clamp there. Does it need one or can I just loosely slip it on without one? If I have to get one, I'll have to wait until monday when the car parts places are open. Thanks a lot

Alex

    Is your car a Turbo? Oh and the 850 doesn't have a clamp the same thing happend to me a few times and I just slipppped it back on if that doesn't work you may use a clamp or tape but it may be a pain in the but to reach that area.

    good luck;

      Great! I don't have to wait a few days until I can get a clamp. Problem is, the intake hose part is bent so the end is not round and it's such a tight area. Pain in the butt. Oh well, I'll deal. Thank you very much.

      Oh, and yes, it's a turbo. T-5R
