Production Runs for C-70 Conv? C70 2000

Anyone know where I can get the production numbers for the C-70 convertible (2000) ? Thanks

    12,000 worlwide and 3,500 for the US. The 3,500 number is not accurate to THE LAST car imported in the US but that was from the last report that I have read.

        I just read a report on Automotive News about the C70s, last week, and also in an internal Volvo report last year. Both did not specify breakdowns by specific colors.

          You mentioned reading production numbers from intern sources and Automotive News. Where can I get numbers on US shipments for C70's by year and coupe and convertible? I sense the coupes are becoming increasingly rare. I've seen convertibles in dealer stock (few) but virtually no coupes. I have a black 99 and have only seen one other in the Boston area.

            Marty, I got production numbers from Volvousa.com. I clicked on "contact us" and asked. They replied ( in 2 days) that there were 4200 and change of the 2000 C-70 convertible but unfortunately could not break it down into colors.

            I did not write "internet" reports, I wrote "internal" reports. I am not sure if you can find this stuff on the Internet.
