At least two months ago I read on a Volvo board that someone was having a problem with their sunroof rattling. They had their dealership fix the rattle but it soon re-appeared. This individual then stated that the dealership had to order new part(s) in order to silence the rattle. Since the existing part(s) would not remain tight.

Well I’m having the exact problem. Or sunroof was rattle free for a day after being repaired, then the rattle came back. I was hoping that if I could find that person and they keep their work order I could get part number(s) of what was replaced.

While I could have a completely different noise problem, I figure the more info. The better for the mechanic to diagnose.
