Wastegate adjustment S60 01

I had two turns short on my S70 LPT and never noticed the effect going away. It seemed "eager" all the time, to the pobnt that I did not want to do more. Driving at 50 mph steadly was a problem.

NOw the S60 LPT is in the driveway, and I have looked at the heat shield bolts. It is much tighter in there! Can I do the same two turns on the S60?

I seems slower than the S70.

How many miles do you have on the S60? I noticed with my S70/GLT it took about 1500 miles before the engine was broken in....then it was much more willing to pull very hard at lower RPM’s.

The S60 has only 1600 miles on it. I would drive it to Scranton

or Kingston to accululate gentle miles but I only get 1000 miles

a month per the lease agreement, and I am pushing the limit now.

Maybe it seems slow because it is so much quieter and smoother

than the S70. Maybe Volvo has a program in the computer that does

not release all the power until several thousand miles. Who knows?

Rich, who has to shoo the people away from admiring the Maya Gold!
