Changing axle fluids V70-XC70 2000

Well, I just did the Bevel Gear unit on my 2000 Volvo V70 AWD XC today. I was rather discouraged when I was pumping out the fluids from it though. The Bevel Gear unit only had about 10 oz. in it. (Not Good)
I filled it with new synthetic gear oil and let it spill out of the bevel gear unit till no more came out. This way I know it was filled to the plug.

Now I'm looking at doing the rear of the vehicle but am unable to find the fill/drain plug for the rear axle? Or is there another gear box for the AWD system back there as well.

Pictures or links to what I need would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

by the way, how much is ten ounces? It sounds like very little. Did you buy a narrower hose to go with your pump? I used a 1/4" from memory, was a perfect fit and could get quite deep, like a j shape hitting bottom.

I read a post of someone who drove his car for about 15 minutes to get the Diff oil warm. Then he just inserted a 1/4inch hose and siphoned it out.

yep, from memory it is in the front face of the rear diff.
Also, about 700ml in angle gear and about 800 or 900ml in rear diff, from memory.

the front bevel gear unit took the 24 oz. of gear fluid that I gave it with some coming out of the whole. Once it stopped coming out I figured that was full. I'll probably go a couple of months with it like this now and do another bevel gear service in the fall time.

Is there just one plug to use to access the rear axle?
