Blower motor and resistor S70 1999

Hi Everyone,
I have a 1999 S70 GLT and I would like to replace the blower motor and resistor. I have seen a youtube video on how to do it and it looks easy.

youtube.com link I found:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=frZl49p2quk

They dont show the parts layout/diagram and associated resistor.

Does anyone know of an exploded diagram that is available on the internet? I have not been able to find one. Also does anyone have any tips they might share before i try to do this?

Andrew

I changed out the blower motor and resistor with new parts on my 2000 V70 (ECC) six months ago. Here's the BB thread that might be useful to you:

    This is a better video:

The resistor is just to the left of the blower as you are facing it. There are 2 types of resistors one for the ECC and the other for the MCC. The ECC has 'auto' for a blower speed, the MCC has 0-5 numbers.

The ECC unit is more expensive than the MCC.
