DG, I found the production figures for my C-70 thru Volvousa.com, go to "contact us" and ask your question. I got a response in 2 days, but they can't narrow it down to colors, just the model.

I asked the same question of the C-70 conv. a few days ago and have e-mailed and searched everywhere to no avail. If you find a source please let me know at KiddNthedrop@aol.com.

    Thanks

Although I do not understand you guys and your fixation with "how many of this model and how many of that model have been imported to the US" (we are not talking about...exotics here, guys!) your best bet is to send Volvo Cars of North America, Inc. a nice letter expressing how crazy you are about Volvos and why it is so important for you to find out such number(s) and, hopefully, they will get back to you with the EXACT figure...Only they can give you the exact breakdown!

Well Yannis, those of us who don't own station wagons are interested in how many of our cars are imported. I thought fellow Brickboarders did not resort to sarcasm in response to legitimate questions. But then again you do own a station wagon so I guess I should understand your degrading tone, I'm sure owning a wagon and not a convertible is sort of like penis envy.

Oh God! I am sorry that you took it all wrong! I was definitely not sarcastic just...surprised with the persistence of you guys trying to find out EXACT breakdown numbers of certain models, etc. I just, and I was expressing my own opinion, do not place as much importance. Now, if I owned a Porsche 911 Turbo or a Ferrari F50 then I could see it.

My tone was definitely not meant to appear degrading (to set the record straight) and believe me, I have neither a "Convertible envy" (if I can spend the money I spent for my car, I could definitely spend a few thousand more and buy a C70) nor a..."penis envy" (what I have is enough and did help me have a son), "envies" are for people who have problems and need therapy!

Lastly, my choice of having a wagon was a personal preference, every Volvo that I have owned has been a wagon.

          Yannis
