If the high pressure port is by the radiator support and the low down by the washer bottle, then I am flumoxened. No wonder people with newer cars are having a problem, I will have to update my brain cells.

If you study the plumbing I believe you will find that the port near the upper RH side of the radiator is connected to the high pressure side of the system. You have to pull up on the coolant bottle and/or power steering reservoir to find the low pressure port.

Volvo does not have a high pressure port, just the low pressure port.

Both our 03 V70 and 05 S80 have a high pressure port that is accessible thru the radiator support on the RH side. The low pressure port is hidden under the coolant expansion bottle or the P/S reservoir. I always thought it odd, or dangerous, that the high side was more accessible than the low see.
