Synthetic Oil V70-XC70 1999

Have a 1999 V70 that I purchased a couple of months ago and I'm considering switching to synthetic oil. Has anyone done this with or without problems. Any feedback would be appreciated.

    I put Mobil I into V70 98 about 2500 miles ago. Recently I pulled out dipstick and oil looked like I just put in yesterday.

    I just put it in my 2001 V70, and I've used synthetic in all my cars and motorcycles for 25 years. All positive experiences (except in the pocket book).

    I'm told that that factory fill (at least for 2001 +) is a synthetic blend.

    Mobil 1 is still my choice.

    Not in a V70, but I've been running synthetic in all my cars for about 24 years now, and will continue to do so. All I've seen are advantages.

    Should be a simple changeover. Highly recommended. Never had a problem with changing over to synthetic lubes.
