Anyone in the chicago area have a 98-00 XC with the sport exhaust system on it really looking to hear what it sounds like before i purchase. Also just looking for general info on upgrading the car! Please drop me a line would love to check it out.

I'm from Chicago. I have a '97 850 R wagon with a cat back sport exhaust. The engines are similar so you should have the same sound as mine. We could meet up sometime if you'd like to. I just put on a Magnaflow muffler and dual tip, it has a nice mellow sound. I have a C-70 but the engines should be basically the same and therefore sound the same. I'd personally like a little louder sound than what I got from it. On my Ex-850 I had a flowmaster with a dual tip and it sounded a little better. Flowmaster has several styles that you can choose from and you can go on thier self named web site and search the different styles.
