I had my 850 pegged at 140 (the limit of the speedometer). Did I do much more?

I have seen that the top end (due to wind resistance/ aerodynamics) is 154.5 mph. Mechanical limits from gear ratio vs RPM limit was 162 mph as I recall. (Not that I have done either, yet.)

The true answer is 260 Kph @ 5900 RPM'S. Don't ask how I know...
