Copper bulbed end ftg. (Brake Pipe) S70 1998

Hello all;
Does anyone know either the part number or perhaps a website that would sell the copper end fitting that attaches the right front pass. side brake pipe line to the brake hose?

My friend and I were trying to do a simple job the other night and replace worn out front brake hoses and in the process, my friend rounded off the copper fitting that is on the opposite side of where the steel end of the brake hose attaches. He said there is enough slack in the overall length of the tube run to just cut off the end and add a new fitting. (He has the end-bulbing tool)

Not sure who can sell me just the end fitting.

Thanks!

Here's a link where the tech is souping up a BMW with Volvo Front Girling
Brakes. He has nice pictures showing how he made the odd brake lines and flares.
Some parts stores will loan the flare tool kit, and they are cheap to buy at
    Harbor Freight.

Maybe this will help? It's a nice hat's off to Volvo brakes from a BMW tech.

    Klaus,
    Does this sound right?

After seeing your post I went over to NAPA and got the exact size wich is a M10 x 1.0. The nut is made by SUR&R part number is BR230. The brake pipe line size was 3/16.

The 11mm brass nut should be available at most auto parts stores. The double bubble fitting is not easy to do, but if your friend has the proper tool, then it is doable. He should only need to cut the last 1/8th inch off, if he can comfortably get the tool in the wheel well to get a proper bubble.

That nut usually requires a lot of heat. I had to give up, cry uncle, and take it to a garage to get the fittings loose. They were nice enough to let me watch, and the Snap-on flair wrenches are better than Craftsman, thicker and closer tolerances.

So Klaus, when I go itno my local Auto Zone, what do I ask for speciifcally?
An 11 mm brass nut? Does he need to know it will beusd over a copper brake
      pipe line?

Are you sure of the 11 mm measurement?

      Thanks.

The brake line is not copper. The junction has two nuts, a 14mm belongs to the flex line and the 11mm belongs to the hard line. Your buddy will know what size wrench he used. And, yes, the autoparts guys will know - just call them first.
