Brakes: stuck in the middle of the job. Need a way to finish! V70-XC70 1998

I am replacing the rear pads and rotors on my daughter's '98 V70 (210000 miles). I got one side don (tapped the pins holding the pads out with a punch, removed the caliper, replaced the rotors, got the stuff all back together: good to go.

On the other side, I got one pin out, but the other one is stuck. My enthusiastic tapping with the punch has damaged the pin, and it won't budge. I need to find a way to get the damaged pin out so I can complete the job. Any thoughts would be very much appreciated.

Thanks!

I filed my bent tips down flush and then banged some more with a hammer and punch. I have an extra set of pins and spring, new.

The FWD 1998s are like the 850 in the rear, the AWD are different.

Apply penetrating oil on pin - apply vice grips to middle of pin, try to twist it - then tap vice grips to move pin.

Pit new pins in - on BOTH sides.

Consider filing or grinding that pin off and drilling it out and replace it with a New Pin.
