dash light for high beams

We have a 2003 XC70 purchased new, that now has 135,000 miles. The blue light in the instrument panel which shows when the high beams are on is not functioning properly. It only glows some of the time when the high beams are on. Does any have any suggestions about what I can do?

    I have a 2003 XC70 purchased new, which now has 152,000+ miles. The blue dashboard indicator light for when the high beams are on only lights up some of the time. Any ideas?

    That bulb seldom burns out. Are you sure that you have the headlight switched on? If not, then the highbeams will only be in 'flash' mode. The blue light will come on so long as you hold the stalk.
