What is a Digital Breakout Box used for ?

Looking at the Xermodex website, I see thay have a new gizmo. What is it ?

Something I will never have in my garage. It is a way to check current/voltage for the cars components, all at the same time. The Volvo method is to prob each pin in the box and check the reading, then compare it on a chart.

One of the areas in the ad was a list of all the injector voltages, at the same time!

I guess this break out box isn't cheap, plus it needs a lap top.
